About this job:
Oversees the Facility Support Services (FSS) Division and the Quality Assurance Quality Control team. Responsible for managing FSS project managers in the installation, repair, renovation, and optimization of building systems. Manages the quality assurance/control team to ensure construction is completed to district construction standards. Serves as liaison and support to maintenance, operations, construction, and planning teams.

What You'll Do:
• Manages the planning, budgeting, design, and execution of small infrastructure maintenance and repair, sustainability and construction projects, and maintenance contracts.
• Advises Construction Services about maintenance of construction and installation control methods and documentation (Standards), including updating and revising documentation to match current technology
• Develops and maintains comprehensive long range strategic management plans for building envelopes, roofs, HVAC systems, and pavement systems, etc.
• Develops standards of building maintenance
• Develops and maintains programs and ensures architect-engineer and indefinite delivery indefinite quantity contracts are available to other stakeholders
• Annually examines existing systems and reports in standard format on their condition
• Exercises technical and administrative supervision for one or more engineering technicians and summer program student employees
• Plans, organizes, and schedules work assignments in accordance with the employee’s abilities and division needs; arranges on-the-job training, provides general or specific technical guidance, reviews progress reports and verifies functional objectives are achieved
What You’ll Need:
• Five (5) to seven (7) years of experience directing, monitoring and administering a multiple facilities maintenance organization with multiple building trades in a public or private organization
• Three (3) to five (5) years experience in a supervisory role.
• Two (2) years training and/or equivalent experience in cost estimating, blueprint reading, business, public and customer relations
• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
