Min-Mid Annual Salary Range: $84,224.00 - $100,341.00 Effective as of: 06-16-2023

PRE-EMPLOYMENT REQUIREMENT

The successful new hire or rehired candidate will be responsible to complete and incur the fingerprinting and processing fee of $54.50 through an appropriate fingerprinting vendor and the Colorado Bureau of Investigation, within 48 hours of offer acceptance.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Support the Office of School Leadership in managing and executing essential initiatives and projects aimed at improving the overall efficiency and effectiveness of schools in alignment with the district's strategic plan. Collaborate with Chief and Associate Chief of Schools and district personnel to initiate, plan, execute, monitor, and communicate status on key school leadership project objectives. Support implementation of high-priority work by using organization skills related to project management, process improvement, and excellent communication. Responsible for overseeing and coordinating projects, facilitating communication among stakeholders, and ensuring the successful execution of initiatives that align with our district's goals and objectives.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• In collaboration with the Chief and Associate Chief of Schools, provide project oversight leading cross functional teams to successfully deliver school leadership projects.
• Manage the implementation of school leadership projects and strategic plan priorities using project management techniques and skills.
• Monitor progress and make adjustments when needed, as well as measure project performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Communicate effectively with staff throughout the organization including peers, directors, executive directors, and Cabinet members.
• Coordinate activities with the team of professionals who contribute to the project and serve as the point of contact for stakeholders.
• Facilitate and coordinate project-related meetings to effectively meet project needs.
• Obtain appropriate resources and build teams to perform the project work; monitoring and mitigating project risks along the way.
• Interface with Purchasing teams to support RFI/RFP process when required.
• Collect, analyze, and present data relevant to projects, providing insights and recommendations for decision-making.
• Produce content and materials and disseminate to stakeholder groups as needed as it pertains to project initiatives.
• Maintain detailed project documentation, including project plans, status reports, meeting notes, and project-related correspondence.
• Ensure quality delivery of the following for every project: schedule and timeline management, communication, scope definition, issue/risk management, change management, process improvement, and status reporting.
• Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE Five years of professional experience managing and or coordinating projects. Experience in public sector preferred.

EDUCATION AND TRAINING Bachelor's degree required. Preferred field of study of Business, Project Management, or related field. Additional years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS None required. Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred.

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES Detail oriented; excellent written and verbal communication skills; and adaptable and resilient under pressure. Experience effectively facilitating project meetings and work sessions. Knowledge of K-12 environment cycles, practices and understanding; and/or experience in public education concepts. Ability to build relationships with peers and District executive management and maintain these relationships. Work collaboratively and effectively with people of diverse backgrounds. Ability to train/coach colleagues on new/existing systems or processes. Experience in developing project requirements for complex projects, development of high-level project plans with accurate projections, and successful completion of high stakes projects. Ability to identify needs for project advocacy and communicate to and engage with appropriate stakeholders. Ability to adapt project management methodologies, techniques, and best practices to achieve project goals.

SPAN OF CONTROL This position does not have any supervisory responsibilities.
