About this job:

Supports the development and implementation of activities in schools, including providing support to the Director with the execution of professional development plans for school leadership. Provides data-driven analysis and coaching for program quality and staff development.

What You'll Do:
• Oversees the coordination and evaluation of activities, ensuring high quality program implementation in schools District-wide. For example Esport, Saturday School, Student Banquet and Awards, Summer Academic Programs
• Oversees data entry for High School activities using Oracle.
• Evaluates program effectiveness, community needs and issues in order to measure success and improve and develop the activities program; uses a data-driven approach to make recommendations and modify practices
• Works cross-functionally across schools order to develop program goals and standards; creates systems of effective communication between the schools and community to generate program support and participation
• Works collaboratively with the Director to develop and execute related professional development
• Seeks new funding sources (e.g. grants) in collaboration with Denver Public Schools Foundation to support long-range goals and programming
• Builds and oversees a team of coordinators, providing routine coaching and feedback
• Ensures adherence to established program policies and procedures

What You’ll Need:
• Bachelor’s Degree required
• Master’s Degree preferred
• 3 years of urban school district experience with a proven track record in regional/district activities or athletics
• 2 years of management responsibility
• Lead for racial and educational excellence and work to dismantle systems of oppression and inequity in our community, along with believing in and supporting all students so they feel seen and heard with access to high quality education.
• Live and work with a permanent home address in Colorado while working with us.
