General Definition of Work
The coordinator of CTE technology, under general supervision, performs professional work related to supporting technology equipment and systems, curriculum and instruction, certifications testing, assessments, career development, Project Lead the Way (PLTW), advanced technology, advanced manufacturing, and digital fabrication with technology projects and IT systems as... assigned. The focus is support to the students, classrooms, teachers, and school-based instruction while maintaining the schema level ethernet and internet connections and networks.

The normal place of work is on the premises used by Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools. Charlotte- Mecklenburg Schools reserves the right to require you to work at such other place(s) as it may reasonably require from time to time.
Essential Functions
• Adhere to all state, federal, and local laws, policies, and procedures
• Technical support of certifications, Compass, and Gmetrix.
• Cherwell ticket support to the resolution
• Duties to be inclusive of but not limited to:

• Meta VR Headsets management

• prepare and deliver staff and teacher devices
• the overall technology logistics effort

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities
• Fundamental knowledge of CTE technology, course software, hardware, warehousing, and inventory practices
• Knowledge of warehouse and workplace safety regulations
• Knowledge of and proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office suite of products and G-Suite
• Skilled in time management, organization, and multitasking
• Skilled in problem-solving by researching and seeking answers to questions
• Ability to maintain positive internal relationships with all stakeholders
• Ability to work confidentially with the necessary discretion when required
• Ability to supervises work, as necessary, during audits
• Ability to verify that required documents are complete and accurate
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Education And Experience
• Bachelor's degree in areas specific to or related to CTE, technology, business management, or inventory management.
• Three years of experience working in a K-12 IT (information technology) environment
• Three years of experience in customer service or related area; five years preferred
• Experience in the inventory software system TIPWeb-IT (FAM); experience managing and programming an inventory software system preferred
• Equivalent combination of education and experience
Special Requirements
• Current CTE or curriculum instructional specialist license or instructional technology specialist - computers or telecommunication
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license or ability to provide own transportation
• Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings
