Position Overview: Dove Science Academy High School seeks a passionate and dedicated Art Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in various forms of visual arts and a commitment to inspiring students through engaging and innovative art instruction. The Art Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing a curriculum that encourages students to explore their artistic talents and develop a deep appreciation for the arts.

Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement a comprehensive art curriculum that aligns with state standards and fosters creativity and critical thinking.
• Planned and delivered engaging lessons in various forms of visual arts, including drawing, painting, sculpture, and digital art.
• Encourage and guide students in exploring their individual artistic styles and expressions.
• Assess and evaluate student progress through regular feedback, projects, and exhibitions.
• Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that supports diverse learning styles and backgrounds.
• Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school events, exhibitions, and professional development opportunities.
• Maintain and manage art supplies, equipment, and classroom resources.

Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Art Education, Fine Arts, or a related field. Master’s degree preferred
• Proven experience teaching art at the high school level.
• Strong knowledge of various art techniques, materials, and digital art tools.
• Excellent communication and classroom management skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate students to develop their artistic talents.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and collaboration with colleagues
