Role Description
We are seeking an Esports Instructor for a full-time hybrid role based at our Dallas, TX campus, offering a combination of in-person and work-from-home arrangements. The Esports Instructor will be responsible for planning and executing engaging lessons, mentorship, and training sessions related to the esports industry. Duties include developing and delivering curriculum, fostering team dynamics, assisting students in improving gaming skills, and educating students about the business and career opportunities within esports. Additionally, the role involves organizing practice sessions, coordinating participation in tournaments, and maintaining a positive, supportive learning environment.
Qualifications
• Knowledge of Esports gaming and industry operations, including game strategy, analysis, and team collaboration
• Experience in training and mentoring individuals or teams in gaming or similar competitive environments
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills to cultivate an effective and positive learning environment
• Expertise in designing and implementing curricula, lesson plans, and essential gaming techniques
• Technical proficiency in gaming platforms, streaming software, and modern technologies used in the esports industry
• A passion for supporting students' professional and personal growth within the esports sector
• Bachelor’s degree in esports, sports management, education, or a related field is preferred
• Prior teaching or coaching experience is an advantage
