Teacher job description:
At EV, we believe every teacher plays a valuable role . Our support teachers show up daily to offer enrichment to the classrooms, structure, consistency, and support. They fill a dynamic role, filling in for teachers when needed, providing breaks, and helping out in the kitchen. We ask for flexibility and understanding as the working environment (as all spaces with children) is ever-changing and dynamic.
We believe that to teach, we must first respect and work towards understanding our students, while proving enriching environments, child-led curriculum, and meeting them where they're at. Because we are a Preschool For All site, we serve many underserved families, and we expect teachers to uphold the school's values around racism and anti-oppression.
