Job Description
**Overview:**
The Department of Humanities and Social Sciences at Our Lady of the Lake University in San Antonio is seeking Adjunct Philosophy Instructors to teach general education courses in the Philosophy program. This is a part-time faculty position with a focus on teaching and mentoring students. **Responsibilities:**
• Teach general education courses in the Philosophy program, including PHIL 2321 Introduction to Philosophy - In Person and PHIL 2321 Introduction to Philosophy - Online (if needed)
• Develop and implement course curriculum and assessments
• Mentor and advise students
• Participate in departmental and university activities
• *Qualifications:**
• Master's degree in Philosophy or related field required; Ph.D. preferred
• Teaching experience and/or academic experience in Philosophy
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
