Job Description
• School-Age children in East Portland need you after school! Looking for experienced, energetic and engaged child care professionals for our Champions After-School program at: Creston Elementary School
• Shifts are 2 pm- 6:00 pm Monday-Friday. Once monthly, you should be available for a longer Wednesday shift 11:15 to 6 pm.
• Pay range is $18.00 with little experience, up to $21.00 for experienced and Childcare Teacher-Qualified new hires. Pay is depending on experience.
Our Champions before & after school teaching staff serve K-5 students by providing positive social-emotional support through experiential learning and development. Experience in supervising school-aged students is required. Skills include: classroom management, teamwork, positive attitude and role-modeling, curriculum delivery, positive and developmentally appropriate practices in supporting all youth.
• We offer competitive compensation based on experience. Full-Time benefits for working 25 hours per week.
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
