Job Summary
Teach elementary music classes, 5th grade band, MS Concert Band and HS Symphonic Band classes utilizing a variety of teaching methods including an interactive smart board. Maintain academic progress, classroom discipline and accurate records.
Responsibilities and Duties
• Prepare effective lessons, instruct, and motivate students utilizing a variety of teaching methods including an interactive smart board.
• Conduct two student music concerts per year.
• Maintain student grades and student-parent communication via the school’s online grading and email system.
• Maintain discipline in the classroom and have a classroom that is conducive to learning.
