Summary
Coordinates and oversees the financial, budgetary, payroll, grant writing, and position control functions of designated Exceptional Education programs. Monitors and manages program budgets, staffing allocations, grant expenditures, and fiscal resources to ensure compliance with district policies, state and federal regulations, and generally accepted accounting principles. Collaborates with administrators and department staff to develop budgets, analyze financial and staffing data, prepare reports, and support strategic decision-making. Supervises assigned staff, provides technical guidance and training on financial and personnel procedures, and serves as a liaison between departments to facilitate financial, staffing, payroll, purchasing, and grant-related processes. Minimum Requirements
• Master’s degree or bachelor’s Degree AND Four years of experience administering or coordinating programs OR Eight years of progressive experience administering or coordinating programs
• Three (3) years Supervisory Experience
• Knowledge of federal and state legislative requirements related to specific program is required
• Knowledge and ability to use word processing, database, and spreadsheet programs
• Verbal & written communication skills in English and a demonstrated ability to read and comprehend written/graphic and oral instructions
• Some positions within this classification may require some type of certification
Requirements Prior To Start Date
• FBI fingerprint background check.
• Proof of immunity to rubeola (measles) and rubella (German measles), or proof of MMR immunization.
Preferred Requirements
• Knowledge in accounting
• Knowledge in finance and payroll
• Knowledge in grant writing, monitoring and reporting.

Effective: 2026-2027 SCHOOL YEAR
Location: Exceptional Education Department
Classification: Non-Bargaining
FTE: 1.0 - 8 hours per day
Work Calendar: 12 months
Positions less than 30 hours per week are not eligible for district benefits.
Salary will be prorated if the start date is after the first day of the work calendar for the position.
