Media Aide (K-5)
Position Purpose
To provide media services for students, teaching staff and building-level administration in a helpful, positive, congenial and flexible manner.
Essential Functions
• Reports directly to the building principal.
• Requires an ability to work cooperatively with students and staff in a learner-centered environment.
• Must be able to balance many tasks along with frequent interruptions.
• Must be a self-starter and be able to work effectively with minimal supervision.
Equipment
Use standard office equipment such as personal computers, printer, copier and fax machines, calculator, and telephone.
Travel Requirements
Travel to school district buildings and professional meetings as required.
Pay Rate
$16.80 per hour
Work Schedule
183 days per year.
7.5 hours per day.

Education
• High School Diploma or GED.
Experience
• Prior experience with being a teacher's aide in the area of media is preferred.
