We are seeking a dedicated General Education Science Teacher for a full-time contract role serving 6th8th graders. This opportunity begins as soon as possible and extends through May 21, 2027, making it ideal for those passionate about providing impactful instruction within a supportive educational environment.
Key Qualifications:
• Current, active Colorado Department of Education (CDE) teaching certificate required
• Experience in general education science for middle school-aged students
• Strong classroom management and communication abilities
• Enthusiasm for cultivating inquiry-based learning and critical thinking
• Ability to collaborate with fellow educators and adapt lessons as needed
• Commitment to fostering a positive, inclusive classroom community
• Only fully certified applicants will be considered (no pending or in-process certificates)
Primary Responsibilities:
• Deliver engaging science instruction to a classroom of middle school students (grades 68)
• Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards
• Assess student progress and provide feedback to support individual learning
• Maintain an organized, safe, and positive classroom environment
• Collaborate with teaching teams, support staff, and administration
• Actively communicate with students and families regarding progress and academic expectations
• Participate in school functions, meetings, and ongoing professional development
