We are seeking a dedicated, passionate and positive Associate Elementary Teacher to assist a seasoned Lead Elementary Guide in our Elementary Program. Montessori classroom experience is preferred, but we will consider an Intern In Training. Share your gifts in Sunny Florida ! In our 27th Year, we have staff members who are retiring, relocating and reducing hours.
Our school is housed within a former small church campus in a beautiful historic neighborhood San Marco in Jacksonville, Florida. The campus encompasses three historic buildings: the original Sanctuary (Elementary Building), the Educational Building (Primary) and the Parsonage (Children's House Toddlers). All original buildings were converted to unique classroom spaces upon the founding of Academie de Montessori c. 2000. Our school neighborhood has a Village Square, Parks, Public Library, Fire Station and the St Johns River is within walking distance. The setting enhances the aesthetic development of our students and fosters a lifelong passion for learning. We serve students from 2 yrs old thru 6th grade.
Qualifications: Ability to edit and check student's work, strong language and grammar skills, prep of the environment, recess management, flexibility, positive attitude and strong work ethic, interest in environmental education and science, passion for the philosophy and a sense of humor :).

Salaried Position: Commensurate with Experience/Skills
