Working Calendar: 261 Days/ 8 Hours
SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all phases of general grounds labor including assisting in the maintenance of pavement, ornamental plantings, grass, and fencing; assists in the moving of heavy equipment; assists in the removal of snow; and other labor as directed by the designated supervisor
As per Board-approved 2025-2026 salary placement rules/schedules.
$1,800 quarterly stipend for employees that hold, maintain and utilize CDL Class A
Groundsworker III
Salary Schedule: 1B, Grade 7
Estimated starting hourly range: $20.12 - $31.83

Minimum Qualifications:
High School Diploma or G.E.D.
Valid driver's license
Five (5) years of experience in grounds or related field
Experience moving and operating heavy equipment
Effective communication skills

Estimated starting hourly range: $19.39 - $30.62
