Responsibilities
• Create engaging, developmentally appropriate lesson plans aligned with early childhood education standards
• Foster a safe, nurturing classroom environment that promotes social, emotional, and cognitive growth
• Implement curriculum development strategies tailored to infants, toddlers, or preschoolers’ individual needs
• Manage classroom behavior effectively through positive reinforcement and behavior management techniques
• Communicate regularly with parents about their child's progress, milestones, and any concerns
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and health and safety regulations, including first aid and CPR procedures
• Collaborate with team members to support inclusive education practices such as special education and early intervention programs
Experience
• Prior experience working with children in a childcare or preschool setting is essential
• Demonstrated knowledge of child development instruction and classroom management techniques
• Experience developing curriculum and lesson plans for early childhood education levels
• Familiarity with behavior management strategies and classroom safety protocols
• Strong communication skills for effective parent engagement and team collaboration
• Knowledge of mandated reporting laws, childhood welfare standards, and early intervention practices is preferred
• Certification in first aid and CPR is required or obtainable upon hire

Pay: $14.00 - $15.00 per hour
