Primary Responsibilities
• Plan and deliver engaging, standards-aligned instruction appropriate to the assigned elementary grade.
• Differentiate instruction through small groups, intervention, enrichment, and accommodations for individual learners.
• Create a positive, structured classroom culture with clear routines, high expectations, and fair behavior supports.
• Use assessments and student work to monitor progress, adjust instruction, and provide timely feedback.
• Maintain accurate lesson plans, grades, attendance, and other required student records.
• Collaborate with grade-level teams, instructional leaders, special programs staff, and support personnel.
• Communicate consistently and professionally with parents and guardians about student progress and needs.
• Implement required IEP, Section 504, dyslexia, and emergent bilingual supports.
• Participate in professional learning, staff meetings, school events, and assigned duties.
• Protect student safety, confidentiality, instructional materials, and school property.
Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university
• Strong classroom management, communication, organization, and teamwork skills
• Ability to plan standards-aligned lessons, analyze student data, and respond to varied learning needs
• Commitment to Royal's mission, high expectations, and continuous improvement
• Ability to pass all required background and employment checks
Preferred Qualifications
• Texas teaching certificate appropriate to the assignment
• At least 2 years of Elementary classroom teaching or student teaching
• Experience with small-group instruction and data-driven teaching,
• ESL, bilingual, reading, or math education certification
