Salary Range: $60,000 - $62,500

Minimum Qualifications:
• Valid Texas teaching certificate with required endorsements or required training for subject and level assigned including vocational certification; or Bachelor's degree from accredited university and have an approved statement of qualifications verifying three (3)years of full-time wage-earning experience
• OR High School Diploma or Equivalent and have an approved statement of qualifications verifying five (5) years of full-time wage�earning experience
• Experience must be within the past eight (8) years in one or more approved occupations for which instruction is offered
• Hold current licensure, certification, or registration by a state or nationally recognized accrediting agency in any approved occupations for the classes you will be teaching
• Pass the appropriate National Occupational Competency Testing Institute (NOCTI) assessment if licensure, certification or registration is not based on a recognized test or measurement.
• Military experience may be used in lieu of civilian licensure and wage-earning experience (educator preparation program will review eligibility)
• Must be eligible for employment in the United States and must complete an approved Texas Educator Preparation Program
• Demonstrated competency in the occupation or skill trade area assigned
Special Knowledge/Skills:
• Knowledge of occupation or skilled trade assigned
• General knowledge of curriculum and instruction
• Ability to instruct students and manage their behavior
• Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
