Title - Classroom Aide / Substitute teacher
Location - Nashville TN 37214 (Onsite)
Shift hrs -8.00 AM -5.00 PM (m-f)
Duration till 09/25/2026 with Possibility of Extension
Key Responsibilities
• Report to the educational office each morning upon arrival and check out at the end of the school day.
• Follow lesson plans provided by the classroom teacher to ensure instructional continuity.
• Assume responsibilities of the classroom teacher or educational assistant while maintaining school policies and procedures.
• Support daily school operations which may include lunchroom duty, bus duty, hallway supervision, or other tasks assigned by school administrators.
• Review and follow classroom substitute folders including emergency procedures and student medical information.
• Maintain classroom routines and promote a structured, positive, and engaging learning environment.
• Supervise students at all times and ensure their safety and well-being.
• Report any significant behavioral or disciplinary concerns to the appropriate school administrator immediately.
• Maintain strict confidentiality regarding student information and school matters.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor’s Degree required (Teaching Certification not required).
• Previous experience working with students in a classroom, childcare, tutoring, or youth programs is preferred.
