Qualifications & Experience Sought:

• Valid and active Minnesota special education teaching license (required)

• Previous experience teaching in special education, ideally at the elementary, middle, or high school level

• Strong understanding of IEP processes and individualized instruction strategies

• Ability to collaborate with general education teachers, families, and support staff

• Excellent communication, organizational, and classroom management skills

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) for students with varying needs

• Deliver instruction in alignment with state standards and student IEPs, adapting lessons as needed

• Facilitate inclusion within general education classrooms where appropriate

• Regularly assess student progress and communicate results to parents, guardians, and school teams

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to provide holistic support for each student

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of student records and compliance paperwork
