Requirements / Qualifications
The Manager II, General is accountable for improving student achievement through the effective management of an assigned area(s); facilitate the development, enhancement and improvement of curriculum, instructional and/or other programs to provide students access to high-quality learning options to stay in school on target to graduate.
California s fourth-largest school district with an enrollment of more than 73,000 students is making huge strides in preparing career-ready graduates. Guided by the Board of Education s Core Beliefs that all students can and must learn at grade level and beyond, the district is gaining momentum to boost student achievement. Education And Experience: Any combination equivalent to: bachelor s degree and five years increasingly responsible supervisory and/or management or related experience in area of specialty; Administrative Services Credential and Teaching Credential preferred. Licenses And Other Requirements: Valid California Driver s license; valid California Administrative Services Credential and/or Teacher's Credential may be required based on assignments and/or area(s) of responsibility.
