Key Responsibilities:
• Deliver targeted push-in support to elementary students in grades 4-5, adapting instruction to meet diverse learning needs
• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with state and federal guidelines
• Partner with general education teachers to design inclusive instructional strategies
• Regularly communicate with parents, guardians, and school professionals regarding student progress
• Foster a positive, inclusive classroom atmosphere that encourages student engagement and growth
Desired Skills & Qualifications:
• Current Pennsylvania Special Education Teacher certification, or eligibility through an emergency Special Education Certification
• Previous experience working with upper elementary students preferred
• Strong interpersonal, communication, and collaboration abilities
• Proficient in adapting curriculum materials and instructional methods for students with diverse learning profiles
