Key Qualifications:
• Active, valid state teaching license with an endorsement in Middle School ELA
• ESL endorsement required
• Strong background in working with middle school students
• Proven expertise in delivering a bilingual or dual-language curriculum
• Solid classroom management and interpersonal communication abilities
• Enthusiasm for fostering an inclusive and culturally responsive learning environment
Responsibilities:
• Design and implement standards-based ELA lessons for grades 68 in a dual-language setting
• Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of bilingual learners and varying English proficiency levels
• Facilitate classroom discussions, reading, and writing activities that promote language access and literacy
• Monitor student progress, assess learning outcomes, and adjust instruction as needed
• Engage in professional collaboration with colleagues, families, and support staff to enhance student success
• Participate in school-wide initiatives, staff meetings, and ongoing professional development
