We are seeking dedicated married couples to join our team as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this unique and impactful role, couples will reside in on-campus student homes, providing care, guidance, and support to approximately 8-13 students. Houseparents play a crucial role in establishing a structured, family-like environment that promotes students' academic, emotional, and social growth, empowering them to achieve their full potential.
Your responsibilities will include:
• Providing daily supervision and mentorship to students.
• Managing household routines and student schedules effectively.
• Administering medications and ensuring overall student wellness.
• Driving students to activities while actively engaging them in recreational and developmental pursuits.
• Leading daily devotions and attending Sunday Chapel services with students.
• Overseeing budgeting and household reporting.
Upon hiring, Flex Houseparents will support various student homes with a schedule of nine consecutive workdays, followed by three days off. During weekdays, houseparents will benefit from unscheduled time as students are in school. Eventually, Flex Houseparents will transition to a Placed Houseparent role, living and working with the same group of students in their designated student home.

• Competitive salary: $46,917.00 per person (approximately $180,000 total compensation per couple, which includes free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and more).

Qualifications for applicants:
• Experience working or volunteering with youth is essential.
• This role is open to couples legally married for at least two years.
• Both spouses must be at least 27 years of age.
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home.
• Commitment to maintaining a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol usage permitted while on duty.
• Pet policy allows only fish and one dog of approved breeds.
• Valid U.S. driver's license and ability to become certified to drive student home vans.
• Comfort leading students in daily devotions and participating in Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing is prohibited).
• A high school diploma or GED is required.
• Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff are role models for our students.
