We're seeking a warm, experienced Montessori Preschool Teacher to lead our PreK classroom. If you're an educator who balances warmth with clear expectations, enjoys collaborating with a teaching partner, and is passionate about helping children thrive, we'd love to meet you.
Position Overview
As our Montessori Preschool Teacher, you'll serve as the lead teacher in a PreK classroom of 13–15 children, working alongside a co-teacher to create a calm, engaging, and thoughtfully prepared learning environment.
You'll guide children's academic, social-emotional, and practical life development through Montessori principles while building strong partnerships with families and contributing to the collaborative culture of our school.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Leadership
• Prepare and maintain a clean, organized, Montessori classroom that supports children's independence and success.
• Plan and deliver both group lessons and individualized Montessori learning experiences.
• Guide children's learning through observation, intentional lesson planning, and developmentally appropriate instruction.
• Supervise children throughout the school day, both indoors and outdoors.
Child Development & Care
• Foster children's social-emotional growth while helping them develop independence and self-confidence.
• Guide behavior with warmth, consistency, and respectful redirection.
• Support children's daily routines, including snacks, meals, and bathroom reminders.
• Create an environment where every child feels safe, capable, and valued.
Teamwork & Family Partnership
• Collaborate closely with your teaching partner to create a positive, supportive classroom environment.
• Communicate professionally with families about children's growth and daily experiences.
• Contribute positively to our close-knit school community and participate in ongoing professional learning.
Qualifications
• Montessori training or prior Montessori classroom experience
• At least 2 years of experience working in a preschool or similar early childhood setting
Compensation & Benefits
Pay: $30–$37 per hour

Schedule
Full-Time: Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
We also have a Part-Time option available: 11:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.
Children attend from 8:30 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. Teachers receive a 10-minute morning break and a 30-minute lunch break each day.
