We are located off of Schrock Rd and Cleveland Ave, with easy access to 270 & 71.
We are seeking a motivated and dependable Part-Time Custodial/Maintenance Employee to join our team! In this energetic role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment. Your proactive approach and attention to detail will ensure that all areas are properly cared for, contributing to a positive experience for staff and visitors alike.
This is a long-term, part-time position. With it being part-time, there are no benefits being offered and pay is $25 per hour (processed through payroll). You would be working 3 days a week for 8 hrs per day (24 hours per week). Our hope is to find a qualified candidate that does not require benefits and looking for a part-time job to stay busy and earn some extra income.
A tentative schedule would be Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays working from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM. If we find a suitable candidate, we are open to discussion for a slight variation to that schedule.
The employee is responsible for cleaning tasks such as:
• Perform thorough cleaning of floors, restrooms, offices, and common areas.
• Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning and sanitation processes, adhering strictly to chemical handling safety procedures
• Conduct routine maintenance tasks including minor repairs, painting, and general facilities upkeep (both inside and outside the building) to ensure the environment remains functional and inviting.
• Maintain cleanliness standards by performing janitorial duties such as trash removal, dusting, window washing, surface disinfecting, mopping floors, sweeping, etc.
• Support industrial cleaning tasks when needed, including deep cleaning of high-traffic or specialized areas
• Maintain inventory of needed cleaning supplies.
Qualifications
• Prior janitorial and maintenance experience required.
• Basic building maintenance skills, such as minor repairs, simple plumbing and electrical tasks, and safe use of hand tools and equipment.
• Must be self-motivated and possess the ability to perform job responsibilities without constant supervision.
• Capable to perform physical tasks, such as occasional lifting and moving of boxes.
• Must be reliable and dependable with punctuality to get the job done.
