This full-time contract opportunity is open for the 2026–2027 school year, welcoming educators who champion individualized learning and communication access.

In this position, you’ll serve as a Deaf/Hard of Hearing Specialist, fostering meaningful connections and advocating for students' needs both in and out of the classroom. Your collaboration with teachers, interpreters, and related service professionals will ensure each child receives the tailored support they deserve. Creativity and adaptability are highly valued here, as is the belief that every student brings unique strengths and potential.

What We’re Looking For:

• Current DHH Teaching Credential

• CTC certification

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field

• Proven experience teaching Deaf or Hard of Hearing students

• Exceptional ability to build trusting relationships with students and families

• Commitment to collaborative teamwork with colleagues and service providers

• Innovative approach to instructional design and delivery

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement individualized education plans for students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing

• Provide direct instruction and support tailored to students’ language and communication needs

• Partner with classroom teachers to ensure accessible learning environments

• Engage families as active partners in their children’s educational journey

• Contribute to school-wide initiatives that promote equity and inclusive practices
