Qualifications:
• Pennsylvania Principal's Certification
• Bachelor's Degree in Education
• Master's Degree in Administration and Supervision
• Five years of teaching experience

Job Goal:
To assist the principal in leading, supervising, and promote the educational development of each student
Essential Functions:
• Assist the principal in developing a positive culture to promote continuous student growth
• Assist in guiding the educational program of the school to meet the needs of all students and ensure they align with established academic standards for student achievement
• In collaboration with central administration, coordinate the linkage of curriculum, instruction, assessment, data on student learning research-based teacher effectiveness and best practices
• Assist in the development, revision, and evaluation of the curriculum and provide building-level leadership in the development of the instructional time for students and staff
• Assist in the development and implementation of the master schedule to ensure the efficient, effective, and equitable instructional time for students and staff
• Monitor and support the attendance and conduct of students
• Assist in the supervision of professional, paraprofessional, administrative, and non-professional personnel attached to the school
• Process discipline referrals and communicate effectively with parents, faculty and students
• Support the implemenation of PBIS in the school environment
• Provide general supervision of the school
• Attend after school and evening activities
• Assist in the supervision of all emergency and evacuation drills
• Assist in the preparation of student and faculty handbooks
• Assist in the development of building procedures
• Communicate timely and effectively with all students, staff, parents, and administrators using a variety of platforms
• Assist in interpreting and anyalyzing student data
• Assist the principal in planning and conducting faculty meetings
• Chaperone appropriate school functions when necessary; dances, field trips, assemblies, etc.
• Actively participate in professional development, administrative council meetings, conferences, and workshops
• Perform all other duties as assigned by the principal
