About The Position

We are looking for an Academic Librarian.

This is a hands-on position with a high degree of autonomy. The person will be responsible for a modern, student-centered library, focusing primarily on digital resources, academic databases, and case study repositories that support our training and faculty needs.

What You Will Do Library Development Collection Management

• Define and implement a digital-first library strategy.
• Select, acquire, organize, and manage databases and academic resources.
• Structure a predominantly digital collection.
• Manage case study repositories.
• Monitor acquisition, renewal, licensing, and access to resources.

Research User Support

• Support students and faculty in research, including database searches and applied business research.
• Conduct in-person and virtual research consultations.
• Ensure accessibility and a positive experience across all library services.
• Guide students on the academic citation standards used.

Education Engagement

• Plan and conduct workshops, orientations, and research clinics.
• Train students and faculty in database use, research strategies, and academic writing.
• Promote library services and resources to the academic community.
• Create guides, tutorials, curated lists, and other content to increase awareness and use of resources.

Data Continuous Improvement

• Monitor and analyze the use of library resources.
• Track metrics and identify opportunities to increase engagement and impact.
• Use data and user feedback to continuously improve services.

What We Are Looking For

• 3+ years of experience in library services, preferably in an academic setting or in creating/restructuring library services.
• Strong experience with electronic resources, acquisition, licensing, and management.
• Knowledge of classification standards used.
• Familiarity with library management systems, metadata standards, and digital repository tools.
• Knowledge of copyright, fair use, and intellectual property in the U.S. academic context.
• Experience with academic research support, writing, and citation practices.
• Native/fluent English. Spanish and Portuguese are pluses.
• Authorization to work in the United States.
