About the Role

The Company is seeking a Dean for its School of Science, Engineering, and Technology. The successful candidate will be the chief academic and administrative officer of the School, responsible for providing strategic leadership in academic programs, enrollment, faculty development, research, and operational excellence. This role requires a collaborative academic leader with a strong commitment to the mission of the institution, particularly in the context of a Catholic and Marianist liberal arts education. The Dean will work to strengthen industry and community partnerships, expand research and philanthropic support, and champion interdisciplinary collaboration, all while preparing graduates to lead with integrity and purpose. Applicants for the Dean position at the company's School of Science, Engineering, and Technology must have an earned terminal degree in a relevant discipline, a strong record of teaching, scholarship, and professional engagement, and experience in academic administration. The role demands a leader with a demonstrated ability to work collaboratively, support student learning and retention, and promote inclusive excellence. The Dean will be expected to have a proven track record in supporting external funding, research infrastructure, and resource development, as well as experience in assessment, accreditation, and strategic planning. The ideal candidate will be adept at fostering a culture of close faculty mentorship and hands-on learning, and will be instrumental in defining the future of the School within the context of the institution's new strategic plan and significant recent investments.
