Job Description
Supplemental Health Care is partnering with a school district in Portland, OR hiring compassionate school based RNs and LPNs to provide 1:1 nursing support for medically fragile students and fill a district-wide float nurse position. These are rewarding school-based roles with consistent weekday schedules and no evenings, weekends, or holidays.
Contract Details:
• Pay: LPN: $44 - $46 an hour | RN: $50 - $52 an hour
• Full Time, school based scheduling
Open Positions
• 7-year-old student requiring full care assistance, G-tube feeding, airway support, wheelchair dependent. Approx. 25 hrs/week.
• 8-year-old student with trach/ventilator, G-tube feedings, full care support. Approx. 35-37 hrs/week.
• Cover 1:1 assignments district-wide and support special education classrooms. Must be comfortable with trachs, ventilators, G-tubes, oxygen, seizure rescue medications, and behavioral support. 37-40 hrs/week.
• Post-High School Program: 18-year-old student requiring full assistance, Hoyer lift transfers, G-tube feeding, deep oral suctioning, and oxygen as needed. Approx. 32 hrs/week.
Qualifications
• Current Oregon RN or LPN License
• Current CPR/BLS Certification
• Experience with trachs, ventilators, G-tubes, and medically complex students preferred
