In this role, you will:
• Work full-time hours (approx. 6.5 hours/day, 32.5 hours/week)
• Support elementary-aged students with diverse emotional, behavioral, and academic needs
• Provide individual and group counseling, crisis intervention, and develop strategies for student success
• Collaborate with school staff and families to cultivate an inclusive, supportive atmosphere
• Assist with the implementation of social-emotional programs and promote positive student engagement
• Participate in multidisciplinary meetings and contribute to student support plans
Qualifications:
• Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) Credential with a specialization in School Social Work
• Prior experience in a school or child-focused setting preferred
• Strong communication, counseling, and advocacy skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
• Passion for empowering elementary-aged children
