Company Description The Grauer School is a co-educational, college preparatory independent school in Encinitas, CA, serving approximately 170 students in grades 7–12. We host the Small Schools Coalition, a nonprofit initiative to assist small school leaders.
The Small Schools Coalition is seeking a thoughtful, organized Communications & Research Associate to help support a national network of independent school leaders.
This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys educational writing, social media, newsletters, websites, and meaningful work that supports innovative schools.
You'll help publish articles, manage newsletters, update our website, welcome new members, and share ideas that reach educators around the world.
The position is approximately 10 flexible hours per month at $52.50/hour and works directly with founder Stuart Grauer.
Ideal candidates are:
• Excellent communicators
• Organized and dependable
• Comfortable working independently
• Interested in education, leadership, and small schools
• Familiar with tools such as WordPress, Mailchimp, Canva, Medium, or Substack
