Job Description

Join our dedicated team as an Occupational Therapist for the upcoming school year. We are seeking a passionate professional who wants to make a meaningful impact on students' lives!

Key Responsibilities:
• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to assess students' motor, sensory, and functional needs.
• Design and implement individualized therapy plans and Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Deliver direct occupational therapy services to enhance fine motor skills, sensory processing, self-care, and classroom engagement.
• Collaborate with teachers, parents, and special education teams to seamlessly integrate therapy strategies into the classroom.
• Recommend and employ adaptive equipment and classroom modifications to foster greater accessibility for students.
• Maintain precise records and documentation in line with Illinois State Board of Education (ISBE) and IDEA standards.
• Engage in IEP meetings, student evaluations, and multidisciplinary discussions to support overall student development.
• Provide training and consultation to educators and staff to promote student independence and success.

Required Qualifications:
• Master's or Doctorate in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution.
• Active Illinois OT Licensure from the Illinois Department of Financial & Professional Regulation (IDFPR).
• ISBE Approval as a Related Service Provider (if applicable).
• Preferred: NBCOT Certification.
• Must pass Fingerprint Clearance & Background Check.
