We are seeking dedicated married couples to join our team as Full-time Flex Houseparents. In this transformative career, you will reside in on-campus student homes and provide crucial care, guidance, supervision, and support for 8-13 students living in your home. As Flex Houseparents, you will play a pivotal role in creating a nurturing, family-like atmosphere that promotes students' academic, emotional, and social development, enabling them to reach their fullest potential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide daily supervision and mentorship to students
• Manage household routines and schedules
• Administer medications and ensure student wellness
• Transport students to activities and engage in developmental and recreational activities
• Lead daily devotions and attend Sunday Chapel with students
• Oversee household budgeting and reporting
Initially, you will support various student homes and follow a working schedule of nine consecutive days on-duty followed by three days off. During the weekdays, houseparents will have free time while students are in school. After some time, you will transition into a Placed Houseparent role in which you will live and work with the same group of students in your dedicated student home.
Compensation and Benefits:
• Salary: $46,917 per person (approximately $180,000 total compensation per couple, including free housing, meals while on duty, utilities, and additional perks)

Qualifications:
• Experience working or volunteering with youth is essential
• This role is designed for legally married couples with at least two years of marriage
• Both spouses must be age 27 or older
• No more than three dependent children may reside in the student home
• Commitment to a smoke-free and weapon-free campus; no alcohol allowed while on duty
• Pet policy: only approved breeds of one dog and fish are permitted
• Valid U.S. driver’s license required; must be able to be certified to drive student home vans
• Comfort in leading students in daily devotions and accompanying them to Judeo-Christian Sunday Chapel services (proselytizing not allowed)
• High school diploma or GED is required
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Demonstrated integrity and professionalism; MHS staff act as role models for students
