We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Lead Bilingual Teacher (English/Spanish) to join our early childhood education team. Duties
• Lead bilingual classroom instruction, creating lesson plans that incorporate curriculum development tailored to early childhood development standards
• Foster a positive learning environment through effective classroom management and behavior management strategies
• Implement child development instruction techniques that support social, emotional, cognitive, and physical growth of children
• Collaborate with colleagues to design engaging literacy education activities and integrate Montessori or other specialized teaching methods as appropriate
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians to provide updates on child progress, behavior, and developmental milestones
• Ensure compliance with mandated reporting laws and maintain accurate records of student progress and incidents
• Conduct assessments using standardized testing tools to monitor developmental progress and inform instructional planning
• Provide support for children requiring special education or early intervention services, adapting lessons to meet individual needs
• Maintain certifications such as First Aid and CPR to ensure safety in all classroom activities
• Participate in ongoing professional development related to childhood education, preschool teaching strategies, and physical education

Qualifications
• Proven experience working with children in early childhood settings such as daycare, preschool, or private schools
• Strong knowledge of childhood development principles, curriculum development, literacy education, and behavior management techniques
• Experience teaching physical education and implementing Montessori or similar educational philosophies is preferred
• Demonstrated ability to manage classrooms effectively while fostering a nurturing environment for young learners
• Excellent communication skills for parent engagement and teamwork within a collaborative setting
• Familiarity with mandated reporting laws and child welfare standards applicable to early childhood education
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications in special education or early intervention are a plus
• Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is essential for effective instruction and communication with diverse families
