Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Special Education teacher specializing in English to join our dynamic educational team. Duties
• Implement IEPs
• Adapt teaching methods and learning materials to accommodate various learning styles and abilities, including students with autism and other developmental disabilities.
• Collaborate effectively with co-teachers, therapists, parents, and educational staff to design integrated lesson plans that support behavioral therapy, applied behavior analysis (ABA), and literacy education.
• Manage classroom environments by establishing clear behavior management strategies tailored for students with special needs, promoting positive behavior and engagement.
• Conduct ongoing assessments of student progress through standardized testing, formative evaluations, and observational data collection; adjust instruction accordingly.
• Utilize learning technology tools and innovative teaching strategies to enhance instructional delivery; incorporate creative writing, library services, and educational software as appropriate.
