SUPERVISOR:
Director or designee.
SUMMARY:
Receive, fill, deliver, and process warehouse requisitions and purchase orders to District facilities and other locations as necessary. Receive stock, process purchase orders, and monitor warehouse vehicles for Department of Transportation safety standards. Process and deliver all District and Federal mail.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Deliver all District and Federal mail, including but not limited to, registered, certified, and special handling in accordance with all District and U.S. Postal Service policies and procedures. [Daily, 30%]
Process warehouse requisitions and purchase orders for delivery to District facilities. Ensure "pick tickets" are accurate, filled, packaged, and distributed. Maintain appropriate records and files within the warehouse electronic systems. [Daily, 15%]
Deliver purchase orders, warehouse stock items, and all other authorized material to District facilities. [Daily, 15%]
Issue bulk mailing permits to authorized agencies, obtain account numbers, and send billing information to appropriate District staff. [Daily, 10%]
Preserve a record of all mailings, including films and educational materials. [Daily, 10%]
Perform daily inspection of equipment (forklift, pallet jacks, etc.) to ensure safe operability and document/report any required maintenance. [Daily, 5%]
Inspect and monitor vehicle maintenance and maintain accurate daily records, including any required maintenance, for compliance with the Department of Transportation, State of Colorado, and District regulations. [Daily, 5%]
Assist in the taking of warehouse inventory. [Weekly, 5%]
Perform other related duties as assigned or requested. [Daily, 5%]
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Basic oral and written communication skills.
Basic computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
Basic mathematics skills.
Ability to operate/use warehouse equipment to include pallet jacks, dollies, scanners, reprographic equipment, etc.
Ability to learn/apply District's financial system as it pertains to warehouse operations
Ability to meet Colorado School District Self-Insurance Pool insurability requirements.
Ability to recognize the importance of safety in the workplace, follow safety rules, practice safe work habits, utilize appropriate safety equipment, and report unsafe conditions to the appropriate administrator.
REQUIRED EXPEREINCE, CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, AND REGISTRATIONS:
All certifications, licenses, and registrations must be valid and unexpired.
Criminal background check and fingerprinting required for hire.
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a Class B commercial driver's license (CDL) within the first six (6) months of employment.
Possess or ability to obtain and maintain a forklift operator certification within the first six (6) months of employment.
Mail/courier delivery, warehouse, or receiving experience.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Basic warehouse skills/knowledge.
