Paraprofessional Job Description
ProCare Therapy is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Paraprofessional in Sacramento, CA to support K-12 students in a school-based setting. This full-time Paraprofessional position is ideal for individuals passionate about helping students succeed academically, socially, and behaviorally.
As a Paraprofessional, responsibilities include:
• Providing direct support to students in general education and special education classrooms
• Assisting teachers with instructional activities and classroom management
• Supporting students in 1:1 and small group settings
• Helping implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and student accommodations
• Reinforcing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional goals
• Collaborating with teachers, specialists, and parents to support student success
Paraprofessional Requirements
• Previous experience working with children or students preferred
• Experience in education, special education, childcare, or behavioral support is a plus
• Strong communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills
• Passion for helping students learn and grow
