Responsibilities

Develop and implement individualized instruction aligned with each student's IEP
Create engaging, student-centered lessons that promote academic, behavioral, and social growth
Collaborate with general education teachers, related service providers, and families
Maintain accurate IEP documentation, progress monitoring, and compliance records
Participate in IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team collaboration
Utilize evidence-based instructional strategies and positive behavior supports
Foster an inclusive, supportive, and structured classroom environment

Qualifications

Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Special Education
Active Minnesota Special Education Teaching License (or eligibility to obtain one)
Experience developing and implementing IEPs
Strong communication, collaboration, and classroom management skills
School-based experience preferred, but passionate new graduates are encouraged to apply
