Location: Miami-Dade. The Lucy Project Literacy Hub and ROARS sites.
Salary: $57, 750.00 annually
Work Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:30 a.m.–4:30 p.m.; occasional evening and weekend support for programs and events

Key Responsibilities
Program Logistics & Operations
• Ensure all sites have required materials and resources.
• Confirm room access, space readiness, and partner coordination.
• Manage daily logistics for Learning Specialists across sites.
• Troubleshoot real-time operational issues and communicate updates.
• Acquire parent consent forms for new students and surveys at the end of the year.
• Assist with logistics and operations of professional development sessions.
Instructional Support & Fidelity
• Observe Learning Specialists and MDCPS teachers.
• Provide formal feedback aligned with instructional standards.
• Flag fidelity concerns and report to the Instructional Specialist.
• Reinforce instructional expectations during visits.
• Lead/co-lead coaching, PD sessions, and Reading Road Map implementation.
• Report issues with instructional systems (data dashboards, curriculum files, worksheets).
Staff Oversight & On-Site Support
• Track and report attendance, lateness, and staff concerns.
• Serve as real-time point-of-contact for Learning Specialists.
• Maintain visible, supportive presence across assigned sites.
Collaboration & Internal Communication
• Coordinate scheduling and staffing with the Instructional Specialist.
• Work closely with the Instructional Specialist & Director of Programs.
• Provide feedback on site conditions, logistics, and operational needs.

Before Day 1
• Receive site list, schedules, staff roster, parent contact information, attendance trackers, and ALO log-in information.
• Acadience/ALO Training
Week 1: Orientation
• Review program models: Literacy Hub, ROARS,
• Review logistics: materials, space prep
• Attend at least 1 visit to each program site accompanied by the Instructional Specialist, and meet with site partners to begin relationships
• Shadow a Learning Specialist and observe a full session of the ROARS program
• Review observation and feedback spreadsheet
• Learn LS attendance and absence reporting procedures, and emergency protocols
Weeks 2–3: System Setup & Field Immersion
• Conduct first supervised observations
• Practice providing written and verbal feedback
• Learn material management and delivery systems
Weeks 4–6: Independent Execution
• Lead site logistics independently
• Complete observations independently
• Co-lead coaching with Instructional Specialist
• Identify and communicate instructional fidelity patterns
• Lead communication with LSs during program hours
Ongoing (Every Week)
• Be present at multiple sites weekly
• Monitor LS attendance and performance
• Collaborate weekly with Instructional Specialist
• Share regular instructional and logistical feedback to Instructional Specialist
• Track and report operational issues
• Prepare for weekly LS PD sessions
Success Indicators
• Can explain the structure and goals of each program.
• Demonstrates accurate understanding of instructional expectations.
• Navigates all sites and workflows with minimal guidance.
• Consistently smooth site operations.
• Feedback provided to LSs is actionable and aligned with standards.
• Demonstrates good judgment in escalation and communication.
• Highly reliable in logistics and staff support.
• Respected by Learning Specialists and partners.
• Identified as a key contributor to program quality and fidelity.
