Job Overview

We are seeking a passionate and dynamic Preschool Teacher / Director(Must have Director Credential) in to lead and inspire young learners in a vibrant early childhood education environment. This role combines hands-on classroom teaching with administrative leadership, ensuring a nurturing, engaging, and developmentally appropriate setting for children. The ideal candidate will be energetic, organized, and committed to fostering a love of learning while adhering to best practices in early childhood education. You will play a vital role in curriculum development, classroom management, and building strong relationships with families to support each child's growth and well-being.

Duties
• Develop and implement innovative, age-appropriate curricula that incorporate literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods to promote holistic child development.
• Lead classroom activities that support early intervention strategies, special education needs, and behavior management to create an inclusive learning environment.
• Oversee daily classroom operations, ensuring effective classroom management and adherence to safety standards including first aid and CPR certifications.
• Communicate regularly with parents and guardians about their child's progress, behavior, and developmental milestones through meetings, reports, and updates.
• Supervise and mentor teaching staff, providing guidance on lesson planning, classroom management techniques, and compliance with mandated reporting laws.
• Manage administrative tasks such as staff scheduling, maintaining child welfare records, conducting standardized testing when appropriate, and ensuring compliance with licensing requirements.
• Foster a positive team environment by promoting professional development opportunities focused on childhood development instruction and early childhood education best practices.

Experience
• Proven experience working with children in preschool or daycare settings with a strong background in early childhood education.
• Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development across various domains including literacy education, math, physical education, and Montessori methods.
• Experience managing classrooms effectively while implementing behavior management strategies that support positive social interactions.
• Prior leadership or director experience preferred; capable of overseeing staff performance and fostering a collaborative team environment.
• Knowledge of special education principles, early intervention techniques, mandated reporting laws, and child welfare standards.
• Familiarity with standardized testing procedures for young children and experience tutoring or providing additional support for diverse learners.
• Strong communication skills to engage effectively with children, parents, staff members, and community partners; bilingual abilities are a plus.
