KLA Schools of North Miami Beach (KLA NMB) is looking for an Infant Lead Teacher to join the team of passionate and professional early educators who truly believe in each individual child's potential.

Responsibilities:
Your job will include encouraging creativity, structuring experiences for the eager learning young ones, fostering academic growth, supporting the children establish a new routine in their lives, helping them improve their social-emotional skills and nurturing the students. Teaching toddlers includes helping them to use their words, self sufficiency, taking turns and so much more. It is a rewarding and fulfilling position for those who love children and observing the learning processes and who feel right at home with paint marks on their uniform and a storybook in their hands.
As a teacher, you are responsible for providing safe and developmentally appropriate programs that are aligned with your age group and milestones, as well as with our teaching approach. Implementing the Reggio Emilia Approach in a classroom of toddlers allows them to meet their potential and make discoveries at their own pace. It is teaching children and having the opportunity to see their thinking and growth on a daily basis.
Your job will include:
• Adapting daily routines to meet the interest and needs of the individual child and the group
• Developing activities that promote age appropriate skills and milestones
• Implementing activities that meet the ever changing physical, intellectual, emotional and social needs of their students
• Providing a classroom environment that encourages parent participation and collaboration
• Observing children and making notes of progress and development
• Creating a safe, comfortable and nurturing environment.
Qualifications & Requirements:
• Valid license to practice profession
• Proven experience as a Preschool Teacher
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrate high personal integrity
• Cool-tempered, friendly, and reliable
• Excellent understanding of the principles of child development and preschool educational methods
• Ability to act as a mediator between students
• Sensitive to individual and group needs of children. A joyful approach to the child.
• Ability to create an atmosphere of positive and appropriate discipline
• Balance between a creative mind and a practical acumen
• Sensitive to the individual needs of parents and ability to communicate with parents effectively
• Familiarity with safety and sanitation guidelines for classrooms
• Must have: Daycare / Childcare experience.
• It's a plus to have: Early Childhood Education degree.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $19.00 - $22.00 per hour
