Position: Custodian, Part-Time
Location: 3814 W North Ave., Milwaukee
Job Type: Part-Time (Two shifts available: 6:00a-10:00a OR 1:00p-5:00p)

Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will bring a positive attitude, a flexible mindset, and the ability to prioritize the health and safety of students.
Primary Responsibilities
Clean and Sanitize School Facilities
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, and disinfect classrooms, hallways, restrooms, cafeterias, offices, and common areas to maintain a clean and healthy learning environment
Maintain Building Safety and Appearance
• Empty trash and recycling, clean windows and floors, replenish restroom supplies, and ensure all school spaces are safe, orderly, and presentable for students, staff, and visitors
Perform Basic Maintenance and Repairs
• Complete minor repairs such as replacing light bulbs, fixing door hardware, tightening furniture, changing ceiling tiles, and reporting larger maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel
Assist with School Operations and Events
• Set up and take down tables, chairs, and equipment for assemblies, meetings, parent events, and other school activities, ensuring spaces are prepared and restored afterward
Support Health, Security, and Emergency Preparedness
• Monitor the building for safety hazards, secure doors and windows, respond promptly to spills or emergencies, and follow school procedures for cleaning, safety, and emergency response.
Qualifications:
Must be able to pass a background check
Salary
Commercial cleaning experience required
Salary Range: $16-$20, based on experience
