Summary
We are seeking a compassionate RN (Registered Nurse) or LPN (Licensed Practical Nurse) to provide one-on-one nursing care for students with special needs in Baltimore City Schools. The RN or LPN will support students throughout the school day by managing medical needs and ensuring a safe learning environment. This role is ideal for an RN or LPN who enjoys working with children and making a meaningful difference in a school setting.
Responsibilities
• The RN or LPN will provide one-on-one care for students with special medical needs during the school day
• The RN or LPN will monitor and manage conditions such as diabetes, butterfly disease, and seizure disorders
• The RN or LPN will administer medications and treatments as outlined in the student’s care plan
• The RN or LPN will monitor the student’s health status and respond to any medical concerns promptly
• The RN or LPN will communicate with parents, teachers, and healthcare providers regarding the student’s health needs
• The RN or LPN will maintain accurate documentation and follow all care protocols
• The RN or LPN will ensure the student’s safety and comfort while supporting their participation in school activities
Schedule
• Monday – Friday
• Approximately 40 hours per week
• Most likely shift: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM

Pay: $40.00 - $50.00 per hour
