Starting Salary: $90,000 - $110,000 /year based on experience plus $5,000 sign-on bonus!

As the Director of Educational Programs, you will be integral in improving student outcomes by promoting excellence in instruction and fostering a continuous growth mindset. Your leadership will inspire our dedicated staff, ensuring high-quality teaching practices that align with ChanceLight's educational strategies. You will oversee all site operations and act as the key liaison between the site and school districts, maintaining positive relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
• Provide visionary leadership to enhance student achievement and operations by supervising staff and identifying professional development needs.
• Recruit and retain a faculty/staff team with the skills necessary to meet the unique needs of the program's students.
• Analyze and align staff development needs with ChanceLight's vision, recognizing achievements and addressing concerns.
• Facilitate onboarding and training for new staff to maximize their success and retention.
• Oversee facility and program operations, ensuring student and staff safety and compliance with all requirements.
• Manage daily school operations, schedules, budgeting, and community relationships.
• Participate in enrollment processes to ensure timely student placement and effective transition planning.
• Monitor staff and student performance, providing feedback for continuous improvement.
• Engage in accreditation processes to ensure adherence to high standards.
• Compile and present reports demonstrating student achievement and program effectiveness.
• Utilize assessment data to track student growth and inform instruction.
• Complete and distribute all necessary student documentation accurately and on time.
• Foster a positive school culture and provide support to students facing challenges.
• Perform additional duties as needed to support program success.
Qualifications:
• Master's degree or higher in education, special education, or a related field.
• Valid or in the process of obtaining special education/generalist (K-12) credential.
• Valid or in the process of obtaining special education director or school principal credential.
• Minimum of five years' experience in special education services.
• At least three years of experience in educational leadership.
• Strong knowledge of administrative functions and compliance.
• Expertise in applied behavior analysis and effective teaching strategies.
• Experience with individualized education plans (IEPs).
• Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
