Responsibilities
• Lesson planning, classroom management, and instructional activities across various subjects including literacy, and math.
• Support students with diverse needs in a Christian environment.
• Help maintain a safe, organized classroom environment by managing supplies, setting up learning stations, and ensuring cleanliness.
• Engage with children during activities such teaching, care, or daily routines to promote social-emotional development and positive behavior.
• Support communication between students and families to foster a welcoming school community.
• Assist in classroom management efforts by encouraging positive behavior and supporting students’ social skills.
Requirements
• Experience working with children in educational settings such as daycare, preschool, elementary, high school, or private schools.
• Knowledge of childhood development principles and education practices.
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with children, parents, and staff.
• Ability to assist in lesson planning for subjects like literacy education and math instruction.
• Technical proficiency in educational tools or curriculum development software is a plus.
• Prior experience supporting classroom management or behavior management strategies is preferred.
• Demonstrated commitment to creating an inclusive environment that supports diverse learners.
