Job Description
The San Francisco Waldorf High School is looking for a High School Cross Country Head Coach to start August 17th, 2026.
Fall Season: August 17, 2026 - November 6, 2026
Practice: Practice four days a week approximately 90 minutes, Five weekday league meets, approximately 2.5 hours, Two-Three Saturday Invitational Meets
Stipend: $4,000 for season
RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Plan practices, emphasizing the development of fundamental skills through positive feedback.
• Must commit to all weekday practices and games
• Provide consistent communication with students, parents, fellow coaches, and supervisors.
• Attend coaching clinics and meetings as required
• Provide active direction to the team during games.
• Prepare starting lineup and substitutions.
• Create and institute age-appropriate game strategy.
• Learn and comply with NFHS/CIF/NCS league rules and procedures.
• Additional duties as needed
REQUIREMENTS:
• One year of Cross Country, Track Coaching or teaching Physical Education
• Previous experience working with high school students
• Excellent communication skills
• Interest in Waldorf Education
• TB Assessment
• Livescan fingerprinting required
