Step into a meaningful role supporting middle school students as a Special Education Teacher for 6th–8th grades, providing essential resource support in a contract position for the 2026–2027 school year near Philadelphia, PA. This position features a consistent Monday–Friday schedule from 8:15 a.m. to 4:15 p.m., totaling 40 hours per week.

Key Qualifications:

• Valid Pennsylvania Instructional I or II Special Education K-12 certification required (or ability to obtain by July).

• Experience working with middle school populations (grades 6–8) strongly preferred.

• Skilled in implementing both push-in and pull-out instructional models.

• Deep understanding of IEP process, accommodations, and differentiated instruction.

• Commitment to fostering an inclusive and positive learning environment.

Role Responsibilities:

• Provide direct and supportive instruction to middle school students within resource room and integrated class settings.

• Adapt teaching strategies based on student needs through both push-in and pull-out models.

• Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) in collaboration with team members.

• Partner with general education teachers, families, and related service providers to ensure student progress and success.

• Regularly assess and track student performance, adjusting instructional approaches to maximize individual growth.

• Participate in professional development and school activities as required.
