ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:
Urban Dove Team Charter School (UD Team) is a unique network of sports-based high schools focused on supporting over-aged, under-credited youth. We integrate a solid academic curriculum with sports-focused youth development, preparing our graduates for further education and the workforce through the acquisition of essential skills.

CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Co-teach five engaging 55-minute classes.
• Collaborate within an Inclusive Co-Teaching (ICT) framework.
• Utilize the SDI framework to effectively support students with special needs.
• Implement restorative practices and school-wide PBIS to manage student behavior.
• Act as a case manager, partnering with interdisciplinary teams to develop personalized learning plans.
• Monitor and evaluate student progress, setting achievable goals for continued improvement.
• Formulate and maintain Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) in compliance with special education regulations.
• Design and manage Behavior Intervention Plans tailored to student needs.
• Participate in IEP discussions, grade-level collaborations, and school events.
• Regularly analyze student data using an electronic management system to optimize learning.
• Engage in a 3-week summer orientation and professional development program.
• Contribute to broader school functions, including mentoring staff and participating in committees.

QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree required; Master's degree preferred.
• New York State Certification necessary.
• Open to both novice and experienced educators.
• Experience in a Transfer School is advantageous.
• Proficiency in Google Applications is preferred.
• Familiarity with the use of SESIS is a plus.
• Able to design multi-tiered classroom structures and behavioral plans for diverse disabilities (ED, LD, OHI, etc.).
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining high-quality work.

• Dedicated to using restorative practices and a strength-based approach in addressing student challenges.
• Effective working as part of a team and independently.
• Exemplifies a strong work ethic, excellent communication skills, a passion for serving at-risk youth, and a great sense of humor.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS:

Compensation: $70,969 - $114,450 Annually, based on experience and education.
